Sebastian Morgenstern is on the move, systematically turning Shadowhunter against Shadowhunter. Bearing the Infernal Cup, he transforms Shadowhunters into creatures of nightmare, tearing apart families and lovers as the ranks of his Endarkened army swell. Nothing in this world can defeat Sebastian—but if they journey to the realm of demons, they just might have a chance…

Lives will be lost, love sacrificed, and the whole world will change. Who will survive the explosive sixth and final installment of the Mortal Instruments series?

First time I read the Mortal Instruments is in my mother language, Bahasa Indonesia and it came around 2009. Fascinated, I start to reading the series until the fifth book, City of Lost Souls and shall wait for another 2 years until City of Heavenly Fire came out.

The story epilogue-d with the attack of endarkened in some institutes including the Blackthorn family which has blood half faeries and half of angel. That attacks bring all the shadowhunters to retreat to Idris. That also mean Clary shall be parted with his best friend Simon.

After the attack of shadowhunters, the clave finally understand what they really dealing is. But Sebastian not only hunt the shadowhunters, he threaten the downworlders also. If they refuse to comply with him, they will slaughter them. That's definitely terrified them.

Meanwhile, Jace trying to control the heaven fire on his vein which we know and as suspected that the only weapon to defeat Sebastian and Idris is no longer safe. After the kidnap of downworlders representative, and Clary's mother, Jocelyn, Sebastian leave no choice for Clary, Jace, Izzi, Alec and Simon to hunt him at the another dimension.

From the very beginning, the six installment of Mortal Instruments series offers full of saga. It is Dark War, so many death, and we should prepare to lost our favorite characters.

The characters are still viable and lovely. Though there is war, don't worry there are lot of romances from our triplet characters.

I like this series but somehow it is indifferent with other series. The plot is almost the same and then made me feel like I shall read the book because i already following the installment. There is no element of surprise.

But I must admit, I almost shed my tears when there is a heartbreaking scene in the end. It is the unpredictable plot that finally made me relieve.

The ending is made me satisfied, but somehow i still feel lack of something. I expect for the 6th installments, I wish there is more grand ending.Yet still, which ending I don't criticize? hahaha...

Strange Weather in Tokyo by Hiromi Kawakami

Strange Weather in Tokyo Tsukiko, thirty-eight, works in an office and lives alone. One night, she happens to meet one of her former high school teachers, "Sensei," in a local bar. Tsukiko had only ever called him "Sensei" ("Teacher"). He is thirty years her senior, retired, and presumably a widower. Their relationship develops from a perfunctory acknowledgment of each other as they eat and drink alone at the bar, to a hesitant intimacy which tilts awkwardly and poignantly into love. As Tsukiko and Sensei grow to know and love one another, time's passing is marked by Kawakami's gentle hints at the changing seasons: from warm sake to chilled beer, from the buds on the trees to the blooming of the cherry blossoms. Strange Weather in Tokyo is a moving, funny, and immersive tale of modern Japan and old-fashioned romance.  **** Strange Weather in Tokyo Author : Hiromi Kawakami Translator : Allison Markin Powell Published...
