Saya suka membaca puisi (membuatnya kadang-kadang) namun bukan jenis puisi mendayu-dayu, penuh majas personifikasi hingga saya tidak mengerti artinya. Bukan jenis puisi yang ditulis penyair Kahlil Gibran yang penuh keindahan dan rima. Jadi mohon maaf jika review saya kali ini mungkin tidak terlalu relevan. Dengan munculnya banyak buku puisi akhir-akhir ini seperti dari tangan Lang Leav atau nama-nama yang belum seterkenal- Ia contohnya Tyler Knott Gregson, Alicia Cook, dengan tema yang diusung hampir sama-genre yang sepadan, Rupi Kaur merupakan buku puisi terbaik yang pernah saya baca.
